Dr. Cunningham is originally from Alva, OK. She returned to school "late in life" in her 40's to obtain her chiropractic physician degree. When she moved back to her home state in 1999, she met her husband, Jeff. They currently live the country life with their six rescue dogs.
She established her chiropractic practice in 2000 and has been practicing in the Shawnee, OK area since. In addition to her chiropractic practice, Dr. Cunningham owned and operated a massage therapy school in the Shawnee area until recently. She continues to offer massage therapy as a main component in her office therapies. Dr. Cunningham is a nationally certified massage therapist, although she no longer has the time to perform that kind of treatment herself.
Most recently, Dr. Cunningham has begun to add Acupuncture therapy to her treatment skill set. She has attended physician focused instruction in Acupuncture at Parker Chiropractic College and at the completion of her education there will be Nationally Certified. "I am excited at the vast potential of treatment opportunites that Acupuncture has revealed to me. I had my doubts going in but I've already seen near miraculous results in just the short time I've been working with it. I have to say, I'm a believer now!" ~Dr. Cunningham
